Watch the sun set over Ain Dubai on a 1-hour sunset dhow cruise near JBR. Boarding 5:00 PM, sailing 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. AED 67 adult. Under-3s sail free.
The sunset dhow cruise near JBR is a one-hour golden-hour sailing timed so the sun drops behind the Ain Dubai wheel while you are on the water. Boarding is at 5:00 PM and the dhow sails from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Tickets are AED 67 per adult and AED 35 per child, with under-3s sailing free.
This sailing suits JBR perfectly because the route faces west into the sunset. From the upper deck you watch the sky change over the open water while the wheel and the JBR towers catch the last light. It is a short, relaxed trip — ideal before dinner on The Walk, since you are back on land by 6:30 PM with the whole evening ahead.
What is included
- 1-hour sailing — 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM along the JBR and Bluewaters coastline
- Buffet snacks and soft drinks — light bites, juices, tea and coffee
- Open upper deck — unobstructed sunset photography
- Background music — relaxed playlist, no loud shows on this sailing
Because the cruise is short, it works well for families with small children and for anyone who wants the dhow experience without committing to a full dinner evening. Couples often book it as a pre-dinner activity, and the crew is happy to help with anniversary or proposal moments during the golden-hour stretch.

Local notes — JBR / The Walk
Boarding: JBR-side kiosk at the Marina promenade near The Walk, a 10-minute walk from most JBR beach hotels or one tram stop from JBR. Nearest metro/tram: Sobha Realty metro plus Dubai Tram to Marina Towers station. Nearby hotels: Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, Rixos Premium Dubai and Amwaj Rotana, all within easy reach. Route variation: heads straight for the JBR coastline and Bluewaters, lingering off Ain Dubai for the sunset moment before returning. Timing nuance: the best light is 5:45 PM to 6:15 PM in winter, while in summer the sun sets later, so the sailing still catches golden hour.
