The Marina route sails from Marina Mall Pier 7 through the Marina Canal, past the twisted Cayan Tower, out toward JBR and the Ain Dubai wheel on Bluewaters Island, with a distant view of Palm Jumeirah. It is all glass towers, marina lights, and beachfront promenades. The Creek route boards on the Deira side and sails past the old trading port: wooden abras crossing the water, the gold and spice souks on the shore, heritage wind-tower houses, and illuminated mosques. One is the future, the other is the past, and both are real Dubai.
